Veteran's
Aging in Place
Program

As we age, maintaining the dream of homeownership can become difficult. If your house is creating a health or safety risk, it can become challenging to continue to live in the place you’ve called home for so long,
Habitat’s Veteran Designated Aging in Place Program focuses on accessibility improvements, mobility modifications, weatherization enhancements and critical home repairs that are crucial to help people live in their homes longer. We are aiming to help area veterans age in place with the comfort and dignity they deserve. There is no age requirement for this program.
The work done for accepted applicants will focus on critical repairs and accessibility modifications only. Cosmetic work is NOT covered under this program. Due to limited funds and workforce, applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-qualified, first-serve basis.
