Volunteers of all skill levels are needed on build sites, but also in the ReStore and office. All are welcome!

Shop our ReStore, which accepts new and used building materials from individuals, retailers, businesses and contractors with proceeds helping build more homes.

About Habitat homes
Habitat homes are built according too three guiding principles:
Simple:
Habitat homes are modestly-sized. They are large enough for the homeowner family’s needs, but small enough to keep construction and maintenance costs to a minimum.
Decent:
Habitat for Humanity uses quality, locally-available building materials.
Affordable:
The labor of volunteers and partner families, efficient building methods, modest home sizes and no-profit loans make it affordable for low-income families to purchase Habitat homes

Volunteers and Sweat Equity
Habitat for Humanity volunteers work alongside Habitat homebuyers to build high quality, simple, resilient homes, but construction isn’t the only way to volunteer! Some volunteers work in the Restore or the office. Others make lunch for build days, serve on committees, and help us promote our work in the community.
Each Habitat homebuyer also volunteers. We set a minimum number of hours that they work. It’s called “sweat equity.” All of us have a part to play. After all, the most important thing we do is “bring people together.” It’s part of our mission statement!
